Be Transfigured

Our Mission at Holy Transfiguration American Coptic Orthodox Church is to live and preach a life transfigured by our relationship with God through the pure Orthodox faith, fully participating in the life-giving Sacraments, fully immersing ourselves in the life of the Church, and fully striving to imitate the pure and perfect example of Christ.

An Update for the Next Couple Months

Please note this could change at a moment's notice.

March 2021

  • Weekend Liturgies - we will continue registration through sign up genius.

  • Weekday Liturgies - we will not have any Wednesday liturgies, however we will have "walk in" Friday liturgies that do not require registration.

    • Please pay attention to the times of these liturgies as they will alternate from early and afternoon due to various feasts and fasts.

  • Sunday School - No change; we will continue on Zoom. We are working to come up with a plan to have in-person Sunday School on a weekly basis. We hope to implement by the end of March. More information to come

  • Servants Meeting: March 7 @ 7:30pm for a zoom servants meeting with Fr. Daniel Meleka.

April 2021

  • Weekday Liturgies - Walk in Fridays and possibly Wednesdays as well (TBD).

  • Sunday School - We hope to have a hybrid of Zoom and in person meetings. God willing we will try to organize in-person spiritual days for the youth. More information to come.

We ask for your patience, and prayers. God willing, we will keep you updated of any changes through the emails, the church website, and verbal announcements.

"We made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: 'This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.'" (2 Peter 1:16-17)
