Be Transfigured

Our Mission at Holy Transfiguration American Coptic Orthodox Church is to live and preach a life transfigured by our relationship with God through the pure Orthodox faith, fully participating in the life-giving Sacraments, fully immersing ourselves in the life of the Church, and fully striving to imitate the pure and perfect example of Christ.

HTC's Plan for Holy Week 2021

We are truly thankful for having the opportunity to have Pascha Week in our Church this year! However, we simply cannot resume these services exactly as before just yet. In balancing between fairness, safety, and service, we will have two categories of Pascha services this year: "walk in" and registration.

"Walk in" Services that do not require registration will be :

  • Vespers for Palm Sunday on 4/24 (6:00pm - 7:30pm)

  • All Daytime Pascha Services (generally from 10am - 12pm)

  • Covenant Thursday on 4/29 (8:00am - 1:30pm)

  • Bright Saturday on 4/30 (11:30pm - 5:30am)

Services that require registration will be:

  • All Evening Pascha Services

    • Each household will be able to register for 1 or 2 Evening Pascha Services

  • Palm Sunday, Good Friday and the Feast of Resurrection

    • Families will need to choose 1 of these services to attend

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Fr. David or Fr. Daniel.

"We made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: 'This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.'" (2 Peter 1:16-17)
